Tinubu According to SAN Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, past president of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ahmed Tinubu’s destiny may have already been determined before his inauguration on May 29.
He suggested that the court may expedite the procedures in order to restore national harmony because politics appeared to be out of control.
He said that the main legal question determining Tinubu’s fate is what would happen if he did not obtain a 25% in the FCT.
He stated that Tinubu would go and certify his presidency if it was not fatal. If things do not go as planned, Peter Obi will win in court.
He contends that the court should consider the case 180 days after Tinubu’s election, when he would have been sworn in as President.

With the case management concept adopted by the modern judiciary, the idea is that there are stages you go through to arrive to a result, he continued. As a result, if the tribunal finds that 25% of the FCT is not required, step one means the petition is successful; but, if the tribunal determines that 25% of the FCT is required, step one means the point fails.
The most challenging question will now be presented as you continue up the step; the primary legal concern is what will happen if Bola Tinubu doesn’t receive 25% of the FCT. Does it cause death or not? Tinubu was successful if the query was answered negatively. Tinubu is defeated if the response is in the affirmative.
