Nigerian music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has publicly commented on his separation from longtime partner and actress, Annie Idibia. Speaking on a recent podcast with OAP and TV presenter Nedu and co-hosts, posted by lindaikejiblogofficial on Instagram, 2Baba offered a respectful yet candid response regarding their split.
When asked about the reasons for their marital breakdown and if he would have done anything differently, the artist stated, “I think both of us, we gave it our best.” He declined to delve into specific details publicly, adding, “Me and her, we get our understanding. She’s amazing, like I said earlier. It just wasn’t working no more. That’s just it.”
Pressed further on accountability for the split, 2Baba refused to assign blame, reiterating his decision to keep those details private. “That one na something wey don happen. That’s why I say I no go talk that one here,” he responded.
