Muyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Public Relations Officer, revealed on Saturday that the artist known as Portable faces many charges in court after being detained by personnel from the Ogun State Police Command on Friday afternoon.
When updating his Twitter followers on the situation, Adejobi stated that among the accusations he is anticipated to face include resisting arrest, harming a police officer, beating up a young man, and others.
He also stated that there are several outstanding instances of him assaulting and attacking individuals, and that the cases are being examined as a result of complaints from the victims, and that if the investigations are proved to be accurate, he would be prosecuted and tried in court.
Adejobi advised people not to have undue feelings for him because, despite calling himself a music celebrity, he has no exemption from the law, and he would explain himself before a judge when he appears in court.
