Prophetess O Power, a Nigerian clergywoman, has warning young Christians against engaging in online dating.
She gave the warning during a speech at church, telling her congregation to stop dating someone they met online.
In a video that has gone viral, Prophetess Power can be heard lecturing her church members that using the internet to choose a life spouse is unbiblical.
She encouraged Christians to seek God’s kingdom first, and then all of their wishes, including marriage, would be fulfilled.
The minister stated.
“It’s simple. The formula is there; ‘seek ye first the kingdom of God’. Do not seek online dating.
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and every other thing shall be added: Marriage, houses, babies, whatever you need. But what is the formula? God first. Not online dating”
