Today in Lagos, major stars from the Nollywood industry gathered to the late Murphy Afolabi’s candle night.
The event was frequented by Nollywood celebrities including Olaiya Igwe, Adekola Tijani, Ijebuu, Bimbo Thomas, Yemi Solade, Adesanya Toyosi, Kemi Afolabi, Afeez Owo, Akin Olaiya, Kelvin Ikeduba, Allwell Ademola, Esther Kalejaiye, and many more.
Prior to the arrival of celebrities, his first wife and children were first observed during the early hours of Candle Night. Adekola Tijani, a friend of his, and Ijebuu hosted the show and talked about their interactions with the late actor.
Many people, including Akin Olaiya, Toyosi Adesanya, Olaiya Igwe, and others, cried uncontrollably.
