A leader of the Labour Party, Umar Farouk Ibrahim, has come out to explain why he does not see his candidate losing in court against the former Lagos governor as Nigerians get ready to watch the legal battle that will take place between Peter Gregory Obi and President-elect, Asiwaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the outcome of the highly contentious presidential elections.
The National Secretary of the Labour Party, Farouk, expressed confidence that the country’s judiciary will render a fair judgment during an interview with Charles Aniagolu on ARISE TV’s “Prime Time” program on Tuesday morning. He added that it would be difficult for Obi to lose in such circumstances.
He said; “I don’t believe that Nigeria will remain the same, where everything is thrown into the dustbin. This country is going to change with Peter Obi, the Labour Party, and the Obidients. I am speaking this way because I do not foresee that we won’t win our case. In a clean, clear, and transparent court, Obi will win. I have the mind that the Judiciary will do the right thing. I believe that whatever was done wrongly, will be reversed.”
