Afrobeats superstar Davido temporarily stopped his performance at a recent concert in Umuahia, Abia State, after noticing a fan struggling in the densely packed crowd while holding a newborn baby. The incident, captured in a video now widely circulating on social media, shows the artist expressing strong disapproval of the fan’s decision.
During his performance of the hit track “Ogechi,” Davido abruptly paused the music when he spotted the visibly distressed individual and the infant amidst the tight audience. From the stage, a clearly agitated Davido questioned the fan’s judgment.
“Why you carry baby come? Are you crazy? Carry your baby comot! You are a wicked person!” he shouted, words that have since sparked mixed reactions online.
