Couple learns they are related after 17 years and three children [VIDEO]

After undergoing a family tree DNA test, a married couple with three kids recounted how they learned they are cousins.

When Celina Quinones made the decision to research her family history, she and Joseph Quinones had been married for more than 10 years and had been together for 17 years.

She dug around and found out Joseph was her cousin.

She revealed how the couple learned they were more than simply husband and wife in a TikTok post under the username @realestatemommas.

“Married my hubby in 2006,” she wrote. We had three children without giving it a second thought. We discovered that we were cousins and connected.

Then Celina advised other couples to research their ancestry.

The video soon gained popularity and has received over four million views. Several viewers have commented negatively on the couple’s prolonged relationship and suggested that they should divorce.

She called the moment she realized her spouse was actually her cousin’s husband “devastating,” but said that their love was stronger than ever and that she had disregarded suggestions that they get a divorce.
