She captured the hearts of many during her time in the Big Brother Mzansi house, and even after her eviction in February 2025, Ashley Ogle continues to win over fans with her grace, charm, and humility.
Speaking to Daily Sun during a Durban July shoot in Krugersdorp on Wednesday, 21 May, Ashley reflected on her journey from reality TV star to public figure — and made it clear that she doesn’t see herself as a celebrity.
“I don’t feel like I’m a celebrity. I feel like the same Ashley, just a more blessed version. And I’ve realised I was also blessed even before becoming famous,” she said.
Despite her growing fanbase and popularity, Ashley remains grounded. She says the exposure she got from the show was life-changing, but her gratitude and love for people remain the same.
“I love what I do and the people. I’m learning a lot every day,” she added.
