Controversial Nigerian online critic, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has publicly challenged the Nigeria Police Force’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olumuyiwa Adejobi, accusing him of a selective approach to addressing viral videos. The accusation, made on social media, stems from Verydarkman’s perception that Adejobi is quick to react to celebrity-related incidents while remaining silent on matters of broader national concern.

In his post, Verydarkman criticized what he described as Adejobi’s strong and immediate reaction to a viral video involving actress Angela Okorie. He quoted, “The force ppro olumuyiwa adejobi your gbola rose so hard as na Angela Okorie abi,” before daring the PPRO to respond to another video he claims is causing significant “unrest and panic” across Nigeria.
Verydarkman expressed frustration with the alleged silence from security forces regarding this more impactful video. “A particular video went viral that has been causing unrest and pan!c in Nigeria we all don’t even know what we are facing we all are hoping for answers to explain the video all we got was silence from our security forces in Nigeria,” he wrote.
He further asserted that the PPRO’s readiness to speak on celebrity matters, while neglecting more pressing national issues, demonstrates a clear bias. Verydarkman sarcastically added, “Oga has finally found his voice next thing they will detain Angela okorie for the mistake of the police men.”
he online activist concluded by directly calling on ACP Muyiwa Adejobi to provide a reaction to the video, emphasizing that it has gone “even more viral than the one of Angela okorie.”
