Victor Osimhen, according to former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit, will be a wise acquisition for the West London club.

Osimhen’s prolific scoring performances for Serie A leaders Napoli have put him in high demand this summer.In 25 appearances for the Partenopei this season across all competitions, the Nigerian international has scored 21 goals.With 19 goals from 20 games, he is now Serie A’s leading scorer.

“I would choose Osimhen over players like Marcus Thuram if I were Chelsea. You’re aware that Chelsea has a striker’s curse” but Petit believes that one day it will be lifted, and he believes Oshimen can be the one to do it.
