As you’re talking Isaiah 44:23, which states,
“Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured with thy sacrifices,” is what the clergyman reportedly read. You were not forced to serve by me. From where he had just finished reading, he said, “The Lord has done it. Our prayers have been heard by the Lord. What is it exactly? Listen up! Whatever has happened in our country, Nigeria, the Lord is to thank. The Lord has done everything in your life. Whatever has happened in your family, the Lord is to thank.He has exalted His own name.
He said, “There are things that God will accomplish, not for you, but for His name. Because of His name, He would perform certain things for our country. Have you heard anything from many sources that God spoke regarding this country? That upholds His Servant’s proclamation and carries out His Messengers’ advice when they tell Nigeria that its citizens won’t be in danger and would continue to be inhabited. They won’t be fleeing to the US, the UK, Canada, or anywhere else. You will be occupied. Judah’s cities have to be rebuilt, it says. “And I will raise the decayed places,” the IDP camps were all removed.
He said, “According to Zephaniah 3:14–18 in the Bible, I will gather those members of thee who mourn for the solemn assembly, to whom the dishonour of this country was a burden. How many of you feel burdened by Nigerian society? Was this nation’s crisis, its rebuke, and its disgrace a burden to you? Now pay close attention to what I say today! There are some persons who will soon be laid to rest by God. They are widely dispersed and numerous. Every country on globe where we have been humiliated would turn to laud us and remember us. Nigeria will once more be great. “
